I’ve been tired lately. As a fellow mom, I’m sure that comes as no surprise to you and you are nodding your head in agreement. Seriously, can he sleep past 5 am just once? A Natural Alternative Supplement for Allergies: My Experience with Zyrtec

A Better Life Lived Posted on April 8 by About KiraJuly 19
D-HIST A Natural Alternative Supplement for Allergies that works so well! Great for natural allergy relief!

Allergies have been a prominent part of my life for over 10 years. Taking medications that aren’t designed to be taken long term, especially for something non-life threatening, isn’t something I’m happy to do. I prefer to deal with illness and healing as naturally as possible. After a bad experience with Zyrtec after taking both it and Sudafed daily for years, I decided to turn to a more natural alternative. I ended up finding D-HIST, an amazing natural alternative allergy supplement that manages my terrible allergy symptoms even better than Zyrtec. If you’re looking for help with allergy symptoms, this may be your answer! I’ve found them to provide relief from allergy symptoms like itchy and watery eyes as well as sinus … More…

What I’m Grateful for – November 2017

A Better Life Lived Posted on December 4 by About KiraApril 20
Take a moment to be grateful and appreciate the little things in life. Realize that those little things are the big things.

November was an awesome month. The weather has been so fantastic! It was a little cold a few days, but it actually felt like Autumn instead of just nose-diving straight into Winter at the end of October. Aside from some pretty great weather, I already have most of my Christmas shopping done. No mad rushing for me this December! I did my annual Black Friday shopping with my mom and sister. While I didn’t have much to buy initially, I did get some ideas and accomplished some things so yay! Another successful Black Friday (including a whole new set of dog toys so we can throw out all of their old ratty ones.) Zachary’s been sick a lot this month … More…

5 Simple Tips for a Healthier Thanksgiving

A Better Life Lived Posted on November 20 by About KiraFebruary 12
Such simple ideas to really make for a healthier Thanksgiving! Gotta try these!

If you ask most people what their favorite part of Thanksgiving is, they’d tell you it was the food. In fact, a lot of people probably couldn’t tell you anything else they even associate with Thanksgiving! Although I’m sure a few would say the Black Friday shopping part was their favorite, that really doesn’t have anything to do with the celebration of the holiday itself. And don’t even get me started on the shopping that takes place ON Thanksgiving now. I’m not sure why, but it seems to be the only holiday in which food is the only way we really celebrate. Christmas has church and decorating of the house and tree. Halloween has trick-or-treating, dressing up, and enjoying all things … More…

What I’m Grateful for – October 2017

A Better Life Lived Posted on November 6 by About KiraFebruary 12
Take a moment to be grateful and appreciate the little things in life. Realize that those little things are the big things.

October has gone by so fast. I know time seems to be going by quicker all the time, but it really feels like this month started, I blinked, and October was gone. We were so busy this month. I’m sure it will only get worse as the year comes to an end! October was filled with a lot of work towards potty training. We’re starting to make some headway, but it’s been a lot of work! He’s just so stubborn! We also had family pictures taken which, although I haven’t seen them yet, I think will turn out great. Zachary had some done in his Halloween costume and they should be really cute. We may have even gotten some good ones … More…

What I’m Grateful for – September 2017

A Better Life Lived Posted on October 2 by About KiraApril 8
Take a moment to be grateful and appreciate the little things in life. Realize that those little things are the big things.

Is September really over already? It was a bit of a rough month so it went by pretty quickly. For one, I finally caught one of Zach’s colds. I knew it would happen eventually. Then I had a tooth removed which wasn’t fun. I got tons of canker sores on my lip after making it almost impossible to eat for a week. Zach has also been struggling to sleep and waking up a lot at night, so I haven’t been sleeping as well. We also made the decision to send Zach to daycare so we’ve been looking into options. I hate the idea of it, but it needs to be done. At the end of the month, my annual skin … More…
