There are two things that I am constantly trying to do more of. One is finding ways to be more active that don’t suck. The other is finding fun things to do as a family that don’t cost an arm and a leg, like our movie nights. My favorite combined way to complete both of these, and help us be active as a family is to participate in a local 5k race! We all need a sweet treat every now and then. But there's no reason we can't have them be good for us. Here's the best summertime healthy sweet treat!

Summertime treats are a big hit in our house. To be honest, it doesn’t even have to be summer. Ice cream, popsicles, lemonade. You name it, we love it. What I don’t love is how sugary and unhealthy all of those treats are. Even the “healthy” versions are loaded with junk, and I don’t feel good giving them to my son on a regular basis.
