9 Fun & Easy Fall Crafts for Kids!
I love Fall. In fact, if it weren’t for the fact that Winter is lurking around the corner, it would absolutely be my favorite season. With the weather cooling down, it’s the perfect time to grab the kids and start doing some Fall arts and crafts! To get you started, I’ve compiled a list of some of the cutest Fall crafts for kids!
Arts and crafts are great any time of year, of course. I wanted to find some that would get us ready for all of the changing leaves, apples & pumpkins, and crisp air. We love rock painting and hiding, but that will probably more of a Summer project since it’s partly an outdoor activity and it gets really cold in the Winter here!
These are all simple enough that you can do them with toddlers or preschoolers, but Elementary school aged will love them too! They’re great for some simple family fun activities.
And because they’re all so cute and filled with lovely autumn colors, some of them will make great decorations for many years.
So get out your glue, scissors, paint and paper. These are 9 Fall crafts for kids you are going to want to try. My personal favorite is number 9!
1. Pony Bead Indian Corn from The Parenting Patch 2. Fall Tree Painting from Projects with Kids 3. Leaf Suncatcher from The Best Ideas for Kids 4. Corn Cob Painting from Natural Beach Living 5. Fall Colored Cereal Tree from 123 Homeschool for Me 6. Candy Corn Flowers from The Resourceful Mama 7. Cereal Turkey from Layers of Bethany 8. Fall Handprint Tree from Crafty Morning 9. Mason Jar Fall Luminaries from Where Imagination GrowsStart the Season with these Fall Crafts for Kids!
As the days get colder, these will provide you with some great go to art activities to keep the kids entertained indoors. Most of them are so simple, that they can even be solo activities (under your watchful eye, of course) while you get something else done.
We love art projects for both family fun and calm, quiet time. Art time is the only time Zach sits still for more than a couple minutes, so it’s so great for teaching patience and concentration.
So grab your kids and your art supplies and have some fun trying these super cute Fall craft ideas!
